These are both AFTER pictures of Truman who I only "tidy up" when he comes to visit with his Beagle "Rascal." Truman is 11 years old and in full Cocker Show Coat. He is the most gorgeous and healthy
Cocker I have ever seen outside of a dog show.
This groom clearly represents
the advantages of working in a quiet environment with private
appointments.
Here is Stanley. He is a beautiful 4 month old Maltese puppy
coming in for his first groom and he is not sure that this is
"a good thing."

Here is Stanley after his bath
and some clipping.
He is now relaxed and totally content to trust me while he dozes
off for a little while. I took advantage of his nap to really
neaten up his feet and underbelly.
My little man after. Considering how wiggly a puppy
he was when he wasn't sleeping I am very proud of his "first"
groom :)
Think you don't need to groom your Beagle, or that
there is not much grooming to be done on a Beagle?
Below is my 5 yr. old Beagle Joe the week before I received him
from a farm in NC...completely ungroomed (see those nails?).
Here is Joe two days later after two baths and
a mild clipping.
It will take a few months to perfect his coat and trim. I can do
this with your Beagle too!
