Sunny started her show career strong in the Summer of 2010. She won Winners Bitch at the Southern New York Beagle Club Specialty show and soon after finished her Championship with a BOS win from the classes over the top 15" bitch in the country for her final Major!
Sunny is available to a non-breeding home/companion home only.
She has never been bred.
About Sunny:
Sunny is a cheerful little 2.5 yr. old tri-colored female Beagle. She is very active and LOVES to go for walks and hikes. She is energetic and needs an active, dog savvy owner with a fenced backyard. She is crate trained and up to date on all of her vaccinations. Great with older children (7 and up). She will be sold on a spay contract as a pet only.

All breeders who
have one or two breeds, who show their dogs,
and who have litters in the single digits per year spend
more money
on their dogs than they will ever make.
Until you have
bred a litter, or a couple, you have no idea how much it
costs and how much goes wrong and how much work it is.
It is exhausting and you need to have other resources to
pay for all of the medical expenses. This is why we show
breeders get so upset
over anti-breeder commercials and legislation.
Unless people have been involved in purebred dog
breeding there
is no way they can ever know...and the people that write
us and think they want to breed...they usually have
totally distorted ideas about making money easy. There
is nothing easy about ANY of it. It is a labor
of love and when things go wrong, and they often do,
it can be very devastating. |
